As we watch this election and see the vying of different ideologies, presentation of conflicting values and the promise of new beginnings, it is important to listen to the ideas put forth for the future of Blue Collar America.

As we consider Hillary Clinton, we have to consider the following:72ed44815f41f5b6d5ec9a6912ffb5f63b6de209

Bill and Hillary Clinton were in office when NAFTA was passed. Though originally presented by Bush, Clinton worked feverishly to get it passed.

The North American Free Trade Agreement, or NAFTA, is a three-country accord negotiated by the governments of Canada, Mexico, and the United States that entered into force in January 1994. NAFTA’s terms, which were implemented gradually through January 2008, provided for the elimination of most tariffs on products traded among the three countries. Liberalization of trade in agriculture, textiles, and automobile manufacturing was a major focus. Supporters like Presidents Bush and Clinton countered that the agreement would create hundreds of thousands of new jobs a year, while Mexican President Carlos Salinas de Gortiari saw it as an opportunity to modernize the Mexican economy so that it would “export goods, not people.” Which obviously didn’t happen.

Since NAFTA, America has experienced a long, painful sucking sound, ringing in the new era of American Worker: the Fast Food, Low Skilled, Service Worker. Since NAFTA, over 800,000 manufacturing jobs have disappeared from this country. Tool And Die Makers, Machinists and other skilled tradespeople are almost non-existent. Steve Jobs said several years ago that you could put the remaining “Skilled Tool And Die Makers” in one room in America. That means the people who build cars and many other metal things are dying out, with no Skilled People to replace them.

Over the last 20 or so years, our Government has pushed us to ALL go to College to be something in a suit. They have encouraged kids to NOT do manual labor or trade jobs but to go to college and learn a “White Collar” profession. Now America is at the mercy of other countries like China to get goods that we used to build in the U.S.A. If we were to NEED to have things built here again due to disagreements or changed agreements with other countries, we would be unable to do that.

Throughout Clinton’s time in Washington and Since Obama and the TPP Agreement, America doesn’t really build much of anything anymore. We import everything and ship stuff out for processing, just like the Chicken Industry has done with our food. American workers have stopped getting educations to be the builders of our country and we sit, waiting for a handout at the mercy of others. It would seem that our Democratic Government has spent more time giving away jobs to other countries, instead of building jobs here and training young people to do those jobs. Everybody don’t want to go to college to work in an office…lots of kids are good with their hands and want to have careers working doing other things.

When we listen to Donald Trump, we consider his long, lifetime partnership with Blue Collar America. Though a Millionaire and not a Blue Collar person himself, he has tremendous appeal to Blue Collar America. He seems to understand that we are suffering and that places like Detroit are destroyed because of NAFTA and TPP. He has exhibited a loyalty to America and Americans for many years. He is not a Globalist like Hillary and Obama and understands that in order to be competitive, we have to have skilled people here. He is already advocating for Vocational Programs and our Older Blue Collar Workforce reaching back and teaching the younger, interested American youth. Our country is stronger, healthier and happier when we have the knowledge and skill to be self sufficient.

America and Americans have always been proud of their Middle Class and those who build our country and keep us productive and proud. We have almost seen the destruction of the Middle Class with the Democratic Party, though they promise over and over to help us.

Its hard not to reach out and support Donald Trump. He is saying the stuff Blue Collar America has been needing to hear. I think we are hoping he is for real and he is ready to roll up his sleeves with us and get our country going strong and Make America Great Again For the first time in many years.  We have to decide because the election is upon us. Decide to Make America the country we know it has always been. Strong. Loyal. Proud And Fueled By Our Middle Class and Blue Collar Americans.

I think that you simply could do with a few % to
force the message home a little bit, but other than that,
this is fantastic blog. A great read. I will certainly be back. http://www.yahoo.net

  2. I’ve been surfing online more than 2 hours today, yet I never
found any interesting article like yours. It is pretty worth enough for
me. In my view, if all webmasters and bloggers made good content as you did, the net will be much more useful than ever
